80mm Fans
The 80mm fan and fan hardware ship assembled into the separate Fx Cooling Fan accessory. The 80mm fan cooling systems are available with the following high-end fan kits to provide the best fan quality and performance:


80mm fixed-speed red fan R17(8)
The R17(8) fan from SilenX offers a good balance between cooling and noise performance.

80mm adjustable-speed black fan B22(8)
The B22(8) fan from Noctua covers the full range of ultra-quiet to hi-airflow cooling performance.

All Fans
All fan cooling systems are modular right-to-repair that include disassembly tools, power supply, and power to fan adapter. Adjustable-speed system include Noctua's dial variable-speed controller and accessories. North American orders include fixed power supply and international orders include multiple exchangeable plugs. External outlet power supply used for optimal 12 volt fan operation that avoids pulling power from the laptop system that would increase internal laptop temperatures and contribute to processor power throttling.
