The MxD / MxS-hi / MxS-lo aluminum verses MxDW / MxSW-hi / MxSW-lo wood support differences are minor as the Mx product line was designed to provide incredible strength, durability and performance with both aluminum and wood supports. Aluminum Support Advantages

• Aluminum supports include custom adjustable height feet with matching anodize colors to level uneven surfaces with an increased range of adjustment and ability to quickly readjust at different locations.
• Aluminum supports are 0.200 inches thinner, which slightly improves cooling when used with MacBook Pros and other laptops that include built-in fan cooling systems.
