Made locally in the Pacific Northwest in small hand built batches with a focus on sustainability and enduring metal construction, all SVALT products use modular bolted/snapped cooling system assemblies and ship with the tools required for right-to-repair servicing, exchanging and upgrading.

All SVALT Cooling Dock models work with the laptop operating in closed-screen clamshell mode. Docks feature a unique and stable leaning configuration for easy clamshell setup while the laptop remains connected to cables and safely held on a non-slip padded laptop shelf. Docks can drive cooling air into intake vents to directly cool processors on compatible laptops.

All SVALT Cooling Stand models work with the laptop screen open for a more visually ergonomic workstation, either with the user typing directly on the rigid no-bounce stand or while using an external keyboard and display.

Silent Conductive Heatsink Cooling for Closed and Open-Screen Laptops

The new Mx modular product line is built around a massive 4 pound thermally conductive heatsink carved from solid aluminum with 28 ultra-thin cooling fins and 709 square inches of overall surface area to provide extreme levels of silent cooling. The heatsink has been designed for optional active airflow cooling from a variety of high-quality Noctua 140mm and 80mm fan systems.

Side supports bolt onto the heatsink to create six Mx models with three laptop workstation setups, three anodized aluminum colors and bamboo material. The MxD with aluminum and the MxDW with wood dock supports for closed-screen clamshell operation. The MxS-hi with aluminum and MxSW-hi with wood high stand supports for elevated open-screen operation. The MxS-lo with aluminum and MxSW-lo with wood low stand supports for low-profile laptop keyboard typing.

The Mx product line has been optimized for cooling with Apple’s latest MacBook Pro and Air laptops, as well as compatibility with all recent Apple laptops, many PC laptops and other devices. The Mx includes dual adjustable cable straps that manage and hide cable clutter for a quick laptop setup and a de-cluttered workstation. The Mx features solid aluminum and wood construction with over-sized bolted connections and includes dual adjustable height feet for aluminum supports and leveling pads for wood supports to level uneven surfaces for a robust build with rock-solid stability.

The Mx is a fully modular right-to-repair system with disassembly tools included for cleaning, servicing, replacing and upgrading. The Mx has been designed to endure with heavy-duty construction, and the flexibility of hundreds of different model configurations to meet a customer’s current and future workstation setup requirements and aesthetic preferences. The Mx’s metal and wood construction with minimal use of plastic allows for easier end-of-life product recyclability and biodegradability. The Mx packaging system is made from cardboard/paper-based materials for biodegradability with easy recycling.
